1st Saturday – Seed Saver Workshop and Plant Sale

This 1st Saturday Workshop event features presentations for: flower seed collection, dividing perennials, dividing and multiplying bulbs and taking cuttings from shrubs. There will be vegetable seed collecting and saving demonstrations. Attendees will be able to collect seeds from plants in the demo garden and take home cuttings from several of our demo garden shrubs (bring your bags from home for transporting).

Kids Activities will include: making seed bombs, drawing flowers on seed packets, and a treasure hunt with prizes for finding and identifying flowers.

There will be plants from the demonstration garden for sale at reasonable prices.

Master Gardeners will be available to answer gardening questions. If you do have a plant question, please bring a sample of that plant with you, preferably in a sealed plastic bag.

Free admission and parking and no registration required.
