October 1st – Saving Seeds for Your 2017 Garden

Planning your garden for 2017? YouÔÇÖll want to learn about saving flower and vegetable seeds now. This class will demonstrate the best methods. YouÔÇÖll also have the opportunity to help with late-season harvesting of produce, such as shelling beans, potatoes and onions. The harvest will be given to area food banks.

Plan to dress for the weather and for working in the garden and bring gardening gloves. Bring a bag for seeds to take home with you!

This two-hour class, which begins at 10:00 AM, is taught by Certified WSU Master Gardeners from Grays Harbor and Pacific Counties. There is no charge and no need to preregister. This class will be held at WSU Master Gardener Demonstration Garden located in the Grays Harbor County Fairgrounds, just beyond the pavilion.
