Sustainable Gardening by Propagating Herbaceous Plants Workshop – Ilwaco

Fall workshop co-sponsored by the WSU Master Gardeners of Pacific County and the Columbia Pacific Heritage Museum in Ilwaco.

HWhiteWe end our fourth year in collaboration with the Heritage Museum with our “Sustainable Gardening by Propagating Herbaceous Plants” gardening workshop on Saturday, October 15th. Master Gardeners will demonstrate how to successfully propagate plants using stem cuttings. Bring a small sharp knife and a favorite plant to propagate and share.
HPinkThe workshop begins at 10 a.m. Afterwards, we invite you to join us for a work party in the Museum Discovery Garden. Bring your favorite gardening tools. The Discovery Garden is located behind the Museum’s parking lot at 115 SE Lake Street. Join us for education and fun at the Museum!

Plant questions or problems? Ask a Master Gardener. The group will be sponsoring a plant clinic from 10 a.m. through 1 p.m. at the Museum. If possible, bring samples of your plant problem. Stop by anytime between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. with your plant question or problem. The workshop and plant clinic are free and open to the public.

In addition, we have Raspberry Sundae peony roots still available for sale, just in time for fall planting ahead of next yearÔÇÖs springtime blooms. Add showy color to your garden with these hardy, dependable shrubs! Credit cards accepted.
